A crossroad between styles and sounds, aucan's music is based on a unique energy: synthesis of the opposites. Digital and analog, electronics and acoustic set, melody and dissonance open to direct light, leave the listener inside obscurity. Gifted with a hammering rhythmic compactness and of an acute technical awareness, the band's obsessive compositions contain nonetheless an emotive tissue spent on crooked roads a long time ago, embodying the need to yell out, to get lost in order to discover yourself.

After a year across europe, supporting main international underground bands (Antipop
Consortium, Zu - drummer's Jacopo Battaglia is featured in the new record - Sleeping people, Dj Rupture, Hey!tonal, Andy Moor from the Ex) the band looks forward to a long east / north european tour in may 2010 to promote their special secret ‘’Dna ep’’ (5 tracks, 35mn), coming out march 1st, 2010 to introduce their brand new mix of dark ambient landscapes and dubstep broken riffs.
